Unai Emery: 'Happy with the players'

Unai Emery, Marquinhos and Yacine Adli gave their thoughts on the goalless draw at Caen in Saturday's final league game of the 2017/18 season.

Unai Emery (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"We wanted to win this evening. The team showed desire and motivation, just as we had wanted. We managed to create a lot of chances to score in the first half, but the ball didn't go in the goal. The tempo dropped in the second half, but I'm happy with the players because it was a difficult match. Congratulations to Caen for staying up and to our team, which played to win."

Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"It was our last match of the season, and we're going to miss playing with Paris. So we tried to enjoy it as much as possible on the pitch. For Thiago Motta's last game, we tried to pass the ball a lot to him, given him the ball and let him enjoy it as much as possible. The fans? They were tremendous, I'd like to thank them."

Yacine Adli (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"It was an exceptional moment for me. I'm very happy with my debut. I hope to keep it going. The players welcomed me warmly and helped me adapt very quickly. I didn't think it over too much, it went well. It was a good learning experience."
