Tuchel: 'With quality and intensity'

Press conferences

Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel spoke to the media ahead of the Week 8 Ligue 1 clash away to Bordeaux at the traditional pre-match press conference:

"Kylian and Mauro are both in the squad. We will make a decision tomorrow, but both could play a few minutes. Kylian is very confident. We have to be patient with him. He's in the squad, but he can't play 90 minutes at his very best."

"Playing away to Bordeaux with only two days in between the last two matches is very demanding. We can adapt, we have the quality to do that. We have a lot of players capable of playing with quality and intensity. Morale is always low after a defeat. That's our challenge. It will be tough because Bordeaux have made a very good start to the season. It will be a tough game for us, but it's good because it's a chance for us to get back to winning ways."

"Marquinhos is an exceptional person, humble, polite, dependable and very professional. He's a great player. For me, he can become one of the very best players in the world. He has no limits. He can play in defence or in midfield and you don't notice the difference. He is very important for us, wherever he plays."

"He is adapting to our style and also his new teammates. He played for a long time with Sevilla and now he plays for Paris. He needs time to adapt, both on and off the pitch. I'm not worried at all because he gives everything, he always plays with great intensity and makes lots of defensive and attacking runs. And we also have to adapt to him and his style. It's not easy for him at the moment, but he is patient. I'm convinced he will be an important player for us."

"I am very happy with him. He has really worked very hard for us, for several weeks. It was a challenge for us because he also needed to be patient. He has been very focused with his work, both individually and with the team. It's a big challenge for him too and he was extraordinary. I saw last season that he plays with a lot of confidence in the big matches. So I had confidence in him for Real Madrid and he was really excellent. But we have to be careful with him because he didn't play for four months, but I'm very happy. I hope he continues like this."
