Tuchel: 'We put in a very serious performance'

Thomas Tuchel, Mitchel Bakker and Leandro Paredes discussed Paris Saint-Germain's victory over Pau (0-2) in the Round of 16 of the Coupe de France.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"We put in a very serious performance, with a very good mentality. I am very happy, I want to congratulate my side. We showed our qualities, and that's what makes me very happy. It was a very difficult match, but we deserved to win. It was the fifth match away from home and it's our fifth win, it's great. Everyone thinks that it's easy to win, but personally I know it's not easy to always be at your best, to play with motivation and intensity, but we did everything required in order to win. Every match is different, every match is demanding."

Mitchel Bakker (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"I felt good in my first minutes, I played 20 minutes, it was good. It wasn't the best situation with Colin's injury, I had to come on quickly, but it went well. We qualified, that was the most important thing this evening."

Leandro Paredes (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"The most important thing for us was to to win, to ensure that we qualified for the next round. I think that we worked well to win this match. We knew that it would be a tough match and we are happy to have qualified. Being captain? It's a fantastic evening for me. I was incredibly proud."
