Tuchel: 'We played with great intensity'

Thomas Tuchel, Gianluigi Buffon, Thomas Meunier, Stanley Nsoki and Moussa Diaby all spoke to PSG TV after defeating Reims in Week 7 of the Ligue 1 season at the Parc des Princes:

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach):
"I am very satisfied with the first 60 minutes. We played with great intensity, controlled the possession and won it back quickly when we lost it. It was a great win, a deserved win. The young players are trained to play. They train with us every day. They deserve their chance. It's not easy being a young player in such a big club, but the other players help them settle and that's great. They have shown that they are ready. We will try and do everything we can to try and win an eight game in a row at Nice and equal the championship record."

Gianluigi Buffon (Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper):
"I am very happy to be back on the pitch at the Parc des Princes. I haven't played here for a month. The team played very well and we won, so it was a good night. Perhaps we conceded the first goal through a lapse in concentration. The positive is that the side kept on attacking and ran out comfortable winners. I am lucky to play with great champions and it's easier with great players around you. Our team plays to score goals, so it's normal that the opposition has a few chances to score as well during the match."

Stanley Nsoki (Paris Saint-Germain defender):
"I try and deliver each time the coach calls me up. It was great to play today. I think the goal we conceded was a little accident, and we need to fix that sort of thing. But we fought back quickly and showed we were the better side. The coach asks us full-backs to play high up the pitch and to win back the ball as quickly as possible. That's what we try to do."

Thomas Meunier (Paris Saint-Germain defender):
"Unfortunately for Colin he was injured and I replaced him. I am always hungry and always want to play so I was happy with 70 minutes. It has been a great week for me with three goals. I'm not a forward, but it's always nice to score. When you see this Paris Saint-Germain side playing so high up the pitch, we defenders try to get involved. But we did concede another early goal and we have to get that out of our game."

Moussa Diaby (Paris Saint-Germain winger):
"I am happy that the coach showed his confidence in me, but if I played well tonight, it's thanks above all to my teammates. This was my second match at the Parc des Princes. I'm happy to be playing and that the team team is winning. It is a bit intimidating at first, playing alongside such great players, but after training with them so much, it all comes naturally now. It's so easy to play with great players."
