Tuchel: 'We played with a lot of intensity'

Thomas Tuchel, Pablo Sarabia and Angel Di Maria spoke to PSG TV after Les Rouge et Bleu's 5-0 win over Montpellier in Ligue 1.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
We created a lot of chances. I was a little surprised because normally it's very difficult to create chances against this opponent. We played with a lot of intensity going forward, providing lots of options, but we also have thing we need to improve, we lacked a little rhythm, but overall it was a very good match. We controlled the game well and after the red card they didn't have single chance to score and that's good. It wasn't our best match of the season, but after nine matches this month and five away matches in a row, I'm not going to be too strict with the players... We demand a lot of them and perhaps this isn't the moment to be too critical. It was a spectacular match and the fans enjoyed it.

Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
My goal? The ball came loose after a Neymar dribble and I tried my luck and it went in. It was tough for Montpellier once they were reduced to ten men, but I think we played very well. Our mentality was to keep attacking. That's how we want to play. We are on the right track. We need to always want more, to always want to score more.

Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
It was a very difficult match. We knew it would be. But we started well and that made the game easier. I'm very happy to have scored. From a one-two with Pablo, I did my classic finish to beat the 'keeper. We all need to run for the team. The coach knows that when a new player comes into the team, they will do the job. When Kylian, Ney, Mauro or Edi play, we have three or four incredible players on the pitch capable of scoring goals, that's why it's up to me, Marco, Leo and Gana to keep an eye on the defensive duties.
