Tuchel: 'Good for the confidence'

Thomas Tuchel, Angel Di Maria and Presnel Kimpembe, for his 100th match in a Paris shirt, spoke to PSG after the 3-0 Coupe de France win over Dijon on Tuesday, that saw Paris into the semi-finals for the fifth year in a row.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach):
"Dijon showed a lot of quality and played with a lot of character and courage. We also played well, especially in the first half. We created a lot of chances and I think it was one of our best first halves. It was a very interesting match against an excellent team. It was a good test. The second half was a little too open for my liking. We left them too much space. A club like Paris plays to win every competition. It was important to keep winning, it was good for the confidence. It's good to show our hunger to keep winning!"

Presnel Kimpembe (Paris Saint-Germain defender):
"It was my 100th match and it was good to celebrate that with a win, by qualifying and keeping a clean sheet. It was a quality match, especially in the first half. At the start of the second half we made a few too many mistakes, but we focused quickly. Choupo is a great player, a team player, and he showed it again tonight. Everyone loves him, including all the fans at the Parc des Princes. I'm also happy for Thomas Meunier who scored for his return to the line-up."

Angel Di Maria (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder):
"We are very happy. It was important to qualify and keep going in this competition, especially after the elimination in the Coupe de la Ligue. We want to go as far as possible. For the first goal, Marco found Draxler who played me a perfect pass, I just needed to supply the finish. For the second goal, I was trying to set up Choupo-Moting. He's a really great guy who always looks for the best for the team. In the end, he supplied the assist for Thomas and I'm very happy for him."
