Tuchel: 'Show how determined we are'
Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel spoke to the media at the traditional pre-match press conference ahead of the Week 24 Ligue 1 clash at home to Bordeaux, this Saturday at 17:00 CET at the Parc des Princes:
SQUAD
"Everyone is available, except Neymar. Layvin Kurzawa and Marco Verratti both trained without problems on Thursday. We will wait for training on Friday to see if they will play on Saturday. If possible, Marco will start. He will hopefully play 45 minutes… But we have to decide."
BORDEAUX
"We prepare each and every match thinking the best of our opponents. Bordeaux are a side with lots of qualities, they are very fast and very aggressive. THey try to win back possession in the opposition half of the field, they press high. We have to focus and be concentrated on the match. We have to show how determined we are to win the game. Every match is in important. We are playing at home, at the Parc, with our shirt. We have a responsibility to play as well as we can. But I also have to protect those players that have been playing a lot of football. That's my responsibility as a coach. We need to be ready."
MARQUINHOS
"Marquinhos can be excellent in a variety of positions. I am very happy with him. He's an important player for us. Against Villefranche, he was very good in central defence, and then in midfield with a superb pass to help set up the opening goal. He is a key player for me."
