Tuchel: ‘Ready for the fight’
On the eve of the Coupe de France quarter-final against Dijon, on Wednesday 12 February at 18:30 CET at the Stade Gaston-Gérard, Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel fielded questions from the media at the traditional pre-match press conference.
SQUAD
Colin Dagba, Abdou Diallo, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti and Presnel Kimpembe are not available for the match against Dijon. We will make a final decision about Neymar’s participation after today’s training session.
DIJON
I am expecting a very physical match with a lot of long balls and aerial challenges, a lot of duels. It will be tough, but we will do everything we can to win. We need to be ready for the fight for 120 minutes.
MARQUINHOS
Marquinhos is a key player for us and that’s why we are being very careful with his rehabilitation. He is training with the squad, but it’s too early for him to play again, for the moment.
ICARDI
For a forward’s confidence, they need to be scoring all the time. That’s the only thing that works for them. It’s a bit complicated for Mauro at the moment, but I’m sure he will soon overcome it, because he works enormously hard and I believe in him.
