Tuchel: 'Ready for the fight'

THE SQUAD
"Marco Verratti is back training this week. He with the squad and is working hard to get back in form and free of any niggling injuries. He will train again with us today and we will decide whether or not he comes to Nîmes with us. For the rest, Layvin Kurzawa and Dani Alves are both out."

NÎMES
"They have made a very good start to the season. I expect a match of high intensity with lots of duels and a great atmosphere. They really play like a team, that are strong in the challenge and counter quickly. They have shown plenty of courage and we need to be ready for the fight and ready for a big match."

MERCATO
"It's the last day, it's a bit late. We will try to sign two players: Juan Bernat and Eric Maxim Choup-Moting, who are currently undergoing their medicals this morning. But I can't confirm that they will sign, not yet. And I don't know if any other players will sign before the end of the mercato."

TACTICS
"My players are in form and they are very talented. I am looking for the system that suits them. I want the players to feel comfortable on the pitch. So I'm looking for the formation that will help us get the better of our opponents. We are still preparing things at the moment and I want to get to know all my players, see how they react on the pitch, make little changes here and there. We still need a little time to have everything perfect." 

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
"It's a very difficult group with Liverpool, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade, very passionate sides and spectacular to watch playing. Italian sides are always hard to play against in the Champions League, Napoli have several top class players and they have a great coach who was an inspiration for me as a player and a coach. He brought so many new things to football and I met him when he caoched Bayern Munich and he is a fantastic person as well."
