Tuchel: 'It was a difficult victory'

Thomas Tuchel, Marco Verratti and Thilo Kehrer looked back over Paris Saint-Germain's victory at Nantes (1-2) during Matchday 23 of Ligue 1.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"It was a difficult victory because the final half an hour was complicated. But on the whole, our performance was very good. I really liked the way that we played in the first 70 minutes. The final 20 minutes, it's our fault that it was tight, after an error, but it can happen. Then you need to react and adapt to the circumstances. The team did that and then we had a bit of luck, but also lacked some luck because we had several chances to score the third goal and put the game to bed. But that wasn't possible today. And honestly, I am very happy."

Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"We knew that it would be a difficult match, you never get an easy win here in Nantes. They are a good team who are having a good season. It's true that the match was pretty well managed, we controlled the match having scored two goals, that I think were deserved. Then at 2-1, it became a bit crazy with chances at either end. But when you suffer, you are even more happy about the three points."

Thilo Kehrer (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"We knew that it would be a tough match, that they would play with everything they've got. That's what they did, they pushed. We need to stay strong. We are getting better in every match, we are happy that we are dangerous in attack and that we maintain our strategy to play all together in defence. That is what makes us strong, our spirit. We play well defensively and we also score lots of goals. The goal? I didn't know, but I saw Presnel and Layvin go to the near post, I made my run, the ball got to me. I tried to score with my head, it went in and I am happy that we have the three points."
