Tuchel: 'Here to win every match'

Find out what Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel had to say in the traditional pre-match press conference ahead of the Coupe de France last-16 clash away to Pau:

SQUAD

"Juan Bernat and Marquinhos are injured. For Thiago Silva, it's still a little too early. All the other players are available. We just played a very intense match in Lille (2-0). The team was extraordinary, against the best home team in Ligue 1, who had never lost at home. If we want to play another intense match on Wednesday, it might be necessary to rotate the squad and give the opportunity to others to play because they can bring the intensity needed to win. We need every player to achieve our goals. Sometimes that gives me hard choices to make. That's how it is at a club like Paris Saint-Germain, who always want to win everything."

PAU

"Pau is a team that plays aggressively, is offensive and plays 4-3-3. They beat Bordeaux (3-2 a.e.t), a match in which they gave the impression that they believed every minute a little more. The field will be difficult, but we'll go out there to win. There are no excuses. Pau have nothing to lose. We have the quality to win ... but nothing to win because if we win, it will be normal. For Pau, every ball they win will be a small victory. That can create an atmosphere that makes things difficult. We'll have to be ready for that. We'll have to be calm, quiet, play with quality and intensity and discipline."

TURN-OVER

"We need to think about the starting XI, maybe it's time for a change so we can continue to play with intensity. There are a lot of games right now, every three days. We're in a series of five away games, without breaks, with flights, a lot of travel... So maybe we'll make a few changes, but we'll have a strong team. We'll make a decision after training on Tuesday. Playing a knockout match is never easy. So we're gonna have to be ready."

COUPE DE FRANCE

"Honestly, we don't differentiate between games. We're here to win every match whether it's in the COupe de France, the COupe de la Ligue, Ligue 1 or the Champions League. We have a strong squad that aims to win. We always try to put in the performance that allows us to do that. That's how we are approaching this match. We have to keep our momentum going. Wednesday's match will be decisive, and tough. We want to win the COupe de France and to do that we'll have to win in Pau."
