It was a near-perfect evening. There are always things to improve, but we controlled the match well. Certain players only resumed training with us ten days ago, so I’m very happy with what we did tonight. We kept our structure and we kept on our gegenpressing. That allowed us to win the ball back higher up the pitch and quicker and this was a deserved win.

We have made a good start to the season. I think we played really well tonight. We showed good intensity which is what the coach wants. The result is there and that was our aim.

It was a great way to start the season in front of our fans. We played very well. It was a bit tough in the first half, but we kept getting stronger and stronger. We needed to find space and we did that and finally we got a big win.
