Tuchel: 'Capable of scoring more'

Check out what the Paris Saint-Germain camp had to say after the 4-0 home win over Angers on Saturday 5 October at the Parc des Princes:

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"Marquinhos was ill which meant Leandro Paredes had to come in and he did a good job. We lost too many balls coming forward. It was better in the second half because we played higher up the pitch and we could control their counter attacks better. We won 4-0 against the second-placed team in the competition. That's great. Scoring early meant we had more space because Angers tried to attack. We have more quality in defence this season. Kimpembe is extraordinary. Diallo is very strong. Gueye and Marqui are very strong defensively in midfield. They look after the little details. I think we can score more. We are still lacking attacking players, like Edi and Kylian for the last few weeks."

Idrissa Gueye (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"It's great to score. I've been waiting for this moment for a few weeks now. I didn't know how to celebrate. I thought before the game of paying tribute to Edinson Cavani with his 'arrow' celebration, but when I scored I forgot (laughed). I'm there to help the team, to concentrate on the defensive duties, but I can also help going forward. It was important to win and get the three points tonight. We attacked well. Everyone is happy with a 4-0 win."

Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"I'm very happy to help the team with these two assists and the goal. We are delighted to have achieved the team's goal of winning away in the Champions League and then again at home in the league, in front of our fans, before heading off on international duty. I'm happy to score and celebrate that with the fans and my family. It's very important for me."

Mauro Icardi (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"It was very important for me to play again after the Champions League on Tuesday against Galatasaray. I scored and the team won and that's the most important thing. Angers are a team that like to play on the counterattack. We knew that. We played well and it is a deserved win."
