Three Parisians in FIFA FIFPro World11 contention
Thiago Silva, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr are part of the 55-strong shortlist.
Former Paris Saint-Germain player Dani Alves, who joined São Paulo this summer, is also nominated.
The World11 is established based on the votes of millions of professional footballers from around the world. Each player has to vote for a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards. The FIFA FIFPro World11 2019 will be unveiled at the FIFA Football Awards ceremony on 23 September at La Scala in Milan.
During the evening, the FIFA FIFPro World11 féminin, The Best FIFA Men's Player, The Best FIFA Women's Player, The Best FIFA Men's Coach, The Best - FIFA Women's Coach, The Best - FIFA Men's Goalkeeper, The Best - FIFA Women's Goalkeeper, the FIFA Puskas Award, the FIFA Fan Award and the FIFA Fair Play Award will also be handed out.
