Thomas Tuchel: 'Work and suffer together'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach faced the media ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.

THE MATCH
"It'll be a totally different game to the first one. Firstly, because we're playing away in a stadium where it's very difficult to win. Madrid have a lot of players back who weren't there in September, notably their leader, Sergio Ramos. They're on a good run, they're in form and they've won a lot of games without conceding a lot of goals. But we've also got players back. We're a balanced team, we have to work and suffer together and if we do that, we'll be a dangerous team, difficult to beat."

STARTING XI
"We are going to pick the players tomorrow morning. My players have shown a lot of qualities in recent weeks even though we have had to shuffle the team around a lot. I'm going to have some tough choices to make, but they're nice choices, because it means my players are available. I have faith in them and I know they're ready to accept the tactical decisions that will be taken."

THE STAKES
"It's a great match to play. It's always a special event to play here at the Santiago Bernabeu. But there are only three points at stake. They're the same three points as against Galatasaray and Bruges. It's also perhaps the time to try some things, but decisions mustn't be taking too hastily. We'll have to think about it in order to make the best choices possible."

THE KEYS TO THE MATCH
"The attitude...we've shown a lot of good things in recent games and everyone was on the same wavelength. In the Champions League, we have taken 12 points from four games, because we made efforts together. We'll have to do that here too, it's necessary, and we're capable of doing that."
