Thomas Tuchel: 'We always need to bring intensity'

"For our confidence, it's the best possible thing to continue winning. It's never easy at Nantes. We put in a good performance, a good second half. We made a lot of changes but the team had good energy and we deserved to win. We are very happy. We found slightly shorter distances in our passing in the second half. I think it was also more tiring for Nantes to defend the spaces. We always need to bring intensity and remain patient because things become easier."

"It's very important to get the habit of winning. It's not easy to win against an opponent that prepares well for the match. They were well organised, they didn't want to concede. Now we have a match in Germany. We know Leipzig, they have a lot of talent. At the start of the match, it wasn't easy to create chances but we remained patient and stayed calm with the ball and then we controlled the match. We also have to thank Keylor because if they had scored the penalty, the match may have changed shape. We have one of the best goalkeepers in the world."

"Everything went well, I came on and did very well. We were able to kill off the game with the third goal from Pablo which really helped us. It gives me confidence, but we need to continue working and remain on the right path. It's a source of pride. But I need to work even more to try to play."
