Thomas Tuchel: 'The right attitude'

Check out the Parisians' reaction to their Coupe de France win over Pontivy.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"The team played well, we stayed focussed throughout the game, we showed the right attitude this evening. It's always difficult to prepare games like this, because we don't know our opponents well. But we stayed focussed on ourselves, and that will help prepare for the games coming up. We gave away possession a little easily at times, but that's normal for a first game back."

Stanley N'Soki (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"We start 2019 with a win. It was important to do that. We know the Coupe de France well, they're special games, knockout games. We had to do the business this evening. We started training again two days ago, we are getting back up to speed. I want to congratulate our opponents as they played well this evening." Speaking to Eurosport 2.

Thomas Meunier (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"The team played well overall, we made sure we won, did what we had to do and we qualified. I felt a little tired at the end, because we're still getting back into the swing of things, but we qualified."

Julian Draxler (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"I think our opponents played well, it wasn't easy for us as they gave everything. It was important for us to play well to get back up to speed. There are a lot of games coming up, and I think we did what we had to do this evening."
