Thomas Tuchel: 'Play in their half'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach wants his side to be on the front foot when the face Monaco in the principality in Sunday's Ligue 1 encounter.

THE SQUAD
"Ander Herrera might be missing, even though he trained with us this morning. Marco Verratti felt pain after training, he's not in the squad for tomorrow."

MONACO
"They're very good, especially going forward. They have very good stats. They create a lot of chances and have a lot of quality in midfield. We still don't know who'll play up front with Ben Yedder, because Slimani is suspended and they always play with two forwards and three midfielders...it's very fluid, with Bakayoko, Golovin and Silva."

THE KEYS TO THE GAME
"It'll be vital to be focussed, to defend well in order to create chances. We have to play in their half of the pitch and not lose possession too stupidly. We know they are on a good run, they've settled on their first-choice line-up, and we know it'll be a tough game."

FOUR FORWARDS?
"It's a system that makes things more difficult for the two midfielders. I think it's a system that isn't well balanced. We need three midfielders to stabilise and control the game, and to stay solid defensively. I chose that system with four forwards in the second half against Madrid because we needed a little inspiration to get back into the game. We weren't confident, and we needed to change something. We needed to take more risks and open up more. We're happy with the draw, but we lacked balance, too much at this level, for sure."

SARABIA
"He's super important for us. He's aggressive on the ball, he's reliable, responsible, and those are really good qualities. I'm very happy he scored in Madrid. He always gives everything in training and on the pitch. He changes games, and that's important for us. He really gives us something extra."
