Thomas Tuchel: 'Keep our run going'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach wants his side to maintain their momentum when they head to Saint-Étienne for Sunday's Ligue 1 encounter.

SAINT-ETIENNE
"They're a strong team at home. There's a great atmosphere there, we expect a game like the one at Montpellier. They're a very physical team, compact, and which use a lot of different systems. We don't really know what to expect from them tactically, but we know it'll be tough at their place. But we're in good shape and I'm convinced that we're ready to face this challenge."

CURRENT FORM
"We've had a lot of players missing this season, but we've managed to make the best of it. We have shown a good attitude recently, with a lot of intensity and quaility, and our challenge is to keep our run going. We're thinking about a lot of things. It's difficult to take an attacking player who is scoring a lot out of the team. But on the other hand, we want everyone to be able to play, to show their talent, show that they're ready. In the end, you have to follow logical solutions that are clear for everyone. It's sometimes difficult to accept, but we're in a period where the players have shown a lot of quality, regardless of the amount of time they have played. We have to keep going and keep that spirit. Marseille are maintaining their momentum, and we must not rest on our laurels."

KYLIAN MBAPPE
"We might have known he'd just get better and better. He was lacking rhythm, he'd missed some games, like Ney. We know they will get stronger. It's normal their confidence is coming back and that they're dangerous. He plays high up the pitch, knows how to use his speed, and it's great for us to have him in form."

TANGUY KOUASSI
"We've shown we have faith in him, he deserved to play. He has shown quality. He has played the last two games, and it's a good time to think about what comes now. We really hope he'll stay with us. He's a reliable player who has shown his qualities on the pitch."
