Thomas Tuchel: 'Convinced that we're ready'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach believes his side are in good shape ahead of Wednesday's final Champions League group stage game against Galatasaray.

FORM

"We always try to play a complete game, with intensity, but we have to be aware that there are 11 opponents to make it difficult for us to win. I saw good intentions in Montpellier, a good attitude. That match was a little like a Champions League match in terms of intensity and combativeness. The team showed a great mentality. Those sorts of games help you grow. We showed our hunger to win. It'll be a Champions League game on Wednesday, at the Parc des Princes. I'm absolutely convinced we're ready."

TURNOVER

"We have the opportunity to allow some players a breather. It's not necessary to take risks with injuries and suspensions. It'll be a Champions League game that everyone will want to play. If we can win, we'll do it. It's possible there will be some changes, but not a lot. Some players need to keep their rhythm, so it's not necessary to change. The possible suspensions for Meunier, Verratti and Di Maria? For the latter, it's easier to play on a booking than the first. As a forward, it's easier not to get booked than it is for a defender. We're not going to take risks with yellow cards and with those who have played a lot. We'll make a decision on Wednesday with the physios and the players."

ATTACK

"We played with four attacking elements against Montpellier. It's possible that that will be the case on Wednesday. Everyone wants to play. It's possible we won't change anyone as the players want to keep the rhythm, or do it to give people playing time. There are still a lot of games to play, and we'll need to show in every game that we are a great team, because the next few months will be key in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League. So everyone will have to be capable of playing, and it's necessary every player is important for us."
