Thomas Tuchel: 'A very tough group'

Thomas Tuchel and Thiago Silva gave us their first impressions following the UEFA Champions League draw that pitted Paris with Napoli, Liverpool and Red Star Belgrade.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"There will be a lot of passion around our matches in this group with Napoli, Liverpool and Red Star. The Champions League is the most difficult European competition and you can see that looking at the group. It's a very tough draw. It's never easy to meet Italian teams and more particularly Napoli, who have an experienced coach and a very good team. Liverpool were in the Champions League final las season, they have great support. They're a very quick team that handles their transitions well. They're among the favourites for the competition. They're a squad that have worked together for a long time and which doesn't stop improving with great players. Red Star Belgrade is a great name. I remember their European Cup win in 1991. I'm happy to be able to meet them, it's going to bring back memories. They're still a big club."

Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"It's the Champions League, and if we want to go far, we have to beat very good teams. I know my team is ready for this challenge and that's the most important thing. The atmosphere is red-hot in Naples. We'll have to be very focussed to win there. It'll also be a chance to meet up with Carlo Ancelotti. Liverpool and Red Star Belgrade are also clubs that have made their mark in football, with great atmospheres. We must have a lot of respect for our three opponents, but we mustn't forget our qualities. Our aim is to finish top of the group, but it won't be easy against these quality opponents."
