Thomas Tuchel: 'A very good reaction'

Thomas Tuchel, Marquinhos and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting gave their thoughts after Sunday's Ligue 1 win against Rennes at Roazhon Park.

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"The first half was very difficult, because we weren't ready for this game. Rennes have a lot of quality, play with a lot of intensity. They're a tough team to face at home. We were happy to still be in it at the break, because we might have conceded two or three goals. In the second half, we changed our approach. It was indispensable, I'm very happy we did it. It's a very good reaction."

Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain defender)
"A difficult win? Yes, but on the other hand, there's also a lot of potential. There are good players which have great potential at this club. In the first half, we wasted a lot of easy balls and didn't put in the intensity demanded by our coach. We wanted to come and win here with style and with intensity as a team. We had a good reaction at the end of the first half and in the second half." Speaking to beIN SPORTS 1

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (Paris Saint-Germain forward)
"Rennes caused us problems in the first half. They defended high up the pitch and we struggled to bring the ball out. They had chances and scored a goal. We could have conceded more. The coach wasn't happy, and he made that clear to us at the break. He showed us where we had to improve, and we applied his instructions. It worked in the second half."
