Thilo Kehrer: "We knew it would be difficult"

The Paris Saint-Germain defender, along with his coach, spoke to PSGTV after the 1-0 defeat to OGC Nice in the 27th round of Ligue 1 matches.

Mauricio Pochettino

"I think we are very disappointed we didn't win. We had control of the game but we didn't score and of course when the game is open it can happen, in the last minutes to concede. That's why I think we are very disappointed and very upset about the result. It was an even game, sometimes when you cannot win, you cannot lose the game.
I think there were positive things but some others that we need to improve. Of course it's going to be a different game against Real Madrid in the Champions League and we cannot compare the games."

Thilo Kehrer

"We had a bit of difficulty finding the last pass, the last action to be really effective and to score. I think that if we had managed to open the score, there would have been a good chance that we would have come home with the three points and that's not the case. We are disappointed. But we are already focused on the next game.
I think there are still things to take from the game. We controlled the match. Nice, at home, it's simple, they have the best defence in Ligue 1 and we knew that it would be difficult to find space and create chances. But I think our build up play was good, we arrived in the last quarter of the pitch and we lacked a little something to be really effective. But there are other things. We defended the counter-attacks well. We left one, didn't defend it well, and they scored. They were 100% effective because they didn't have many chances other than the goal. But we still keep some positive things, and we keep a positive attitude for Real."
