The Parisians react to the World Cup draw

Group G - with Switzerland, Serbia and Cameroon

"It's a draw similar to the 2018 World Cup. Switzerland and Serbia are with us again, they were complicated and tight matches. It will be another tight World Cup, with a very high level in many teams. I hope we will have a good group stage and qualify. There are no easy games in the World Cup, the three opponents we will play are very strong, they will give us a lot of trouble, we will have to be at our best from the first game."

Thilo Kehrer (germany)

Group E - with Spain, Japan and Costa Rica or New Zealand

"I think these are very balanced groups. Each group will have very interesting matches. We were in pot two, so we had to expect to play a big team, which is the case with Spain. But we are happy, because playing in a World Cup means playing against big teams, it's very exciting!"

Idrissa Gueye (Senegal)

Group A - with Qatar, Netherlands and Ecuador

"It's true that it's a great to play the opening match. It's a game watched by many! And it will be against Gini (Wijnaldum)! We hope to win this match, but it's especially a pleasure to be able to play in this World Cup and to play the first match against Gini. We talked about it straight away, I told him that it was starting now and that we weren't talking! Obviously it was a joke, we are friends and teammates, we will have time to prepare for this World Cup."

Presnel Kimpembe (France)

Group D - with Denmark, Tunisia and Australia or UAE or Peru 

"It's a group that could be very similar to the one in 2018. Even if we know that the matches are not the same. The draw has been made, it could have been worse, or more favourable, we take what comes, and we hope it will go well. We'll prepare well for all the matches that await us, and we can't wait to be there."
