The Parisians get back to work

Following Sunday's loss at Lille, Thomas Tuchel's men got back to work on Monday ahead of their trip to Nantes.

Sunday at Lille was an evening to forget for the Parisians, but they were back at work at the Ooredoo Training Centre on Monday to begin preparations for their next game: Nantes on Wednesday. The goal is clear: win, and clinch an eighth national title.

Coach Thomas Tuchel highlighted the fact that winning a championship is never easy: "The league is difficult. There's a lot of work and I'm surprised that we're 17 points clear, that we show these qualities and this mentality week in, week out." Marco Verratti recently pointed out the same thing when we spoke to him: "Winning the league is never easy. We're normal people, we work just like everyone else. When we win, it doesn't mean our opponents aren't as good, but that we have worked well."

The players put those words into action on Monday. Those who played on Sunday worked in the gym while the rest of the squad had a full session in the sun. There will be another training session on Tuesday ahead of the trip to Nantes.
