The Parisians dismantle Dijon

Paris Saint-Germain prepared for next week's UEFA Champions League date with a 4-0 win over Dijon in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

A week on from their 4-0 win over Nîmes, Paris Saint-Germain were back in domestic competition after their midweek European encounter. With fixtures coming thick and fast, Thomas Tuchel paired Pablo Sarabia and Moise Kean up front with Neymar Jr pulling the strings while Sergio Rico replaced Keylor Navas at the other end of the pitch.

Kean quickly made his mark. The young Italy international claimed his first Rouge-et-Bleu goal, firing home Mitchel Bakker's driven cross at the near post. (1-0, 3').

Dijon tried to respond through Eric Junior Dina-Ebimbe - on loan from Paris Saint-Germain - but he could not find a way past Rico (5').

Despite their best intentions, the division's bottom team struggled to keep the Parisian attack in check.

After hitting a post (8'), Neymar Jr burst forward, and then teed up Kean for his and the team's second (2-0, 23'). Sarabia with a shot (30') and Danilo with a brace of headers (32', 35') also raised pulses in the Dijon defence.

After the break, the hosts did not let up. Kylian Mbappé, who replaced Kean, also claimed a brace. A stepover and burst of pace brought the first (3-0, 82') before Sarabia latched onto a wonderful pass from Neymar Jr before setting up the France international (4-0, 87').

A sixth successive league win for the Parisians and the ideal preparation for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League encounter with Basaksehir in Istanbul.
