The Parisians back to training: the lowdown!

After a battery of medical tests, the Paris Saint-Germain players got back to work on the Ooredoo Centre pitches on Thursday.

It had been several weeks in coming, but Thursday saw the long-awaited return of the Paris Saint-Germain players to the pitches of the Ooredoo Centre.

After physical and medical tests carried out first at the training centre and then Paris' American Hospital earlier in the week, the squad were able to put on their boots and get out onto the grass in the best possible conditions on Thursday.

There were 23 players out there in total, split into small groups, in a good mood, and following the health guidelines to the letter.

On the agenda...

Divided up according to position and given a specific time slot, the goalkeepers, full-backs, midfielders and forwards followed each other out onto the pitches to get a feel for the ball again. There was more than an hour of ballwork followed by a series of challenges of precision in front of goal. The session was concluded by a cardio workout and stretching.

Sessions in small groups will continue for the moment until the squad can train together as normal again. The dates for that will be published at a later date.
