6 COMME... Marco Verratti, 6th player in Paris history to reach the milestone of 250 Ligue 1 matches played with the club

The 21st of August was a special day for Marco Verratti. Once again, the Parisian midfielder put in a good performance against Lille, helping his side to a crushing victory in the North (1-7) on Matchday 3.

But above all, the European champion with the Squadra Azzurra became the sixth player in the history of the club from the capital to reach 250 Ligue 1 matches played with Paris Saint-Germain. Since then, Marco Verratti has even overtaken Joël Bats in the rankings. Only Jean-Marc Pilorget, Safet Susic, Sylvain Armand and Mustapha Dahleb have done better in the Rouge et Bleu colours.

It should be noted that in the last league match played to date against AJ Auxerre on 13 November (5-0), our captain Marquinhos became the 7th player in Paris history to reach this milestone.
