After the brilliant 7-2 victory over Maccabi Haifa in October, the Parisians qualified from the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the 13th time in their history. This is the highest total for a French club, ahead of Olympique Lyonnais and their 12 qualifiers.
In fact, since Paris Saint-Germain's return to Europe's most prestigious competition (2012), the Rouge et Bleu have qualified for the last 16 11 times in a row, which is obviously a record for a French club.
Paris are therefore one of only three European clubs to have always qualified from the UEFA Champions League group stage since the 2012-2013 season, along with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
