With December starting today and Christmas fast approaching, here on PSG.FR, we’ll be taking you through a key stat about Paris Saint-Germain’s year every day until the 25th. Here’s what’s behind door no. 2.
2 FOR... JUST 2 GOALS CONCEDED!
That's right – you'll undoubtedly know that Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in the league so far this season (as well as in all competitions, in fact). In the league, though, Paris have been particularly brilliant in their ability to avoid any drama on the road!
To put it simply, from their first match away to Clermont in August to their most recent one away to Lorient, the capital club have conceded just two goals in their eight away games so far: one in the 7-1 win away to Lille and the other in the 2-1 victory away to Lorient.
As the league's best defence with nine goals conceded overall and its best attack with 43 scored, Paris firmly consolidated their position as the division's outright leader going into the World Cup break, signing off for the first half of the Ligue 1 season with no less than a five-point lead over their closest competitors, RC Lens.
