The Parc des Princes celebrates Abdou Diallo and Idrissa Gueye
On the occasion of the 24th match day of Ligue 1 between Paris and Rennes, the Parc des Princes paid tribute to its winners of the 2021 African Cup of Nations, Idrissa Gueye and Abdou Diallo, with Senegal!
Invited to the pre-match show Kick Off, Abdou Diallo recounted the AFCON victory, and the joy of having shared it with his club teammate, Gana:"We were calm, we had put ourselves in the best conditions to go and get this trophy. And to live it with Idrissa, it was something special. He is nice, because he waited for me to win it, he had played the final in 2019."
The two men then each received a trophy from Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to mark their victory in the African Cup of Nations, before taking to the pitch to a standing ovation from the entire Parc des Princes.
