"It's both sweet and bitter to become a champion in this way, I would have liked us to have been able to finish off the great job we'd started and to have been able to celebrate the title on the pitch with my teammates and our fans. I'd like to thank the club, my fantastic teammates and the supporters who have accompanied us at the Parc des Pricnes and in every away game. Finally, I would like to dedicate this title to the people who are fighting in our city of Paris against this pandemic that has caused so many deaths, THANK YOU,"  declared Ander Herrera on his Instagram account, while his teammate Pablo Sarabia set himself an objective: lots more trophies!

There were similar sentiments from Thilo Kehrer: "A slightly different title but I'm proud of my team and what we've achieved up until now... I hope that everybody will stay safe!"

"A different title, in unimaginable circumstances, but one that will remain a source of great pride. I can only thank God that I've become a champion for the seventh time in eight years in Ligue 1. I would never have achieved so much without the backing of my family, in particular my wife and my lovely children, my teammates, the staff and the fans. I would like to dedicate the title to them, to the fans and above all to the medical and nursing staff who are fighting COVID-19 the world over. They're our players today, they're fighting so that we can get back on the pitches and into teh stadiums as soon as possible," posted captain Thiago Silva

🇺🇸 A peculiar title, which will remain a source of great pride despite of the circumstances. I can only thank God for being champion of Ligue 1 for the seventh time in eight years. I would not have come this far without the support of my family, in particular my beloved wife and children, my teammates, all staff and fans. I dedicate this title to them, to the fans and especially to all the doctors and caregivers who are fighting against COVID-19 worldwide. They are our players today, so that we can return to the pitch and stadiums as soon as possible. • • • #ThiagoSilva #TS2 #ICICESTPARIS #AllezParis #PSG #ParisSaintGermain #Paris #Football #Futebol #Ligue1 #Ligue1Conforama #Champions2020
