By claiming a four-goal haul in the 8-0 win over Dijon on 17 January at the Parc des Princes, Neymar Jr became the seventh Paris Saint-Germain player to produce such a performance in Ligue 1. Carlos Bianchi (8-2 against Troyes on 14 October 1977), Patrice Loko (5-0 against Nice on 27 April 1997), Christian (4-0 against Strasbourg on 26 January 2000), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (9-0 against Troyes on 13 mars 2016) and Edinson Cavani (6-0 against Caen on 16 September 2016) were the men to do it before him. By also registering two assists in the same game, the Brazil international became the first player in the last ten seasons to be involved in six goals in a single Ligue 1 match.

Paris Saint-Germain improved their national record by winning an eighth Coupe de la Ligue by beating Monaco 3-0 on 31 March at Bordeaux's Matmut Atlantique stadium. In winning the trophy in each of the last five seasons, Paris have extended their record unbeaten run in the competition to 22 matches.

13
With 13 assists in 20 Ligue 1 matches, Neymar Jr recorded the most assists in Ligue 1. He's the second Parisian to claim the honour since its introduction in 2007-08 after Angel Di Maria (18 assists in 29 matches) in 2015-16. Edinson Cavani benefitted most from the Brazilian's eye for a pass, scoring seven goals from a Neymar Jr assist. He becomes only the second Brazilian to top the rankings after Michel Bastos (nine assists in 37 matches for Lille in 2008-09).

93
Paris Saint-Germain's 93 points was the third-highest tally in Ligue 1 history. Only Monaco in the previous season (95 points) and Paris themselves in 2015-2016 (96 points) have ever done better. The Rouge-et-Bleu recorded 52 points at home (17 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat), equalling Monaco's 2016-17 national record.

170
By scoring in the 4-0 win over Montpellier, Edinson Cavani became Paris Saint-Germain's all-time leading scorer in all competitions. The Uruguay international, who has 170 goals in 246 matches for Paris, surpassed the record of Zlatan Ibrahimovic (156 goals in 180 games).
