Forward Kylian Mbappé netted his 15th and 16th goals in the Coupe de France for Paris Saint-Germain. The France international, who signed for Paris in 2017, is now the club's equal second top goal scorer in the competition alongside Edinson Cavani, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pedro Miguel Pauleta. Only François M’Pelé, with 28 Cup goals, has done better in Rouge et Bleu. It has taken Kylian just 16 matches and he has also provided seven assists in that time.

Paris have qualified for the 19th Coupe de France final in the club's history, equaling the competition record set by Marseille. Paris Saint-Germain have qualified in each of their last 16 semi-finals. Their last semi-final elimination came in 1986. Les Rouge et Bleu will be contesting their seventh consecutive Coupe de France final - another record in the competition's history - and their 13th in the last 21 years since the turn of the century - at least ten more than any other side in that time.

Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic (41 goals in 46 matches in 2013-14 and 50 goals in 51 matches in 2015-16) and Edinson Cavani (49 goals in 50 matches in 2016-17 and 40 goals in 48 matches in 2017-18) have done better in Rouge et Bleu.
