Stats & Facts: the cup win over Vannes

Match in numbers

Check out the key numbers from the 4-0 Coupe de France success in Brittany.

Mbappé SETS THE TONE

With a hat-trick in his first game of the new year, Kylian Mbappé picked up where he left off. He reached the 150-goal milestone for the club and is now just six behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the club's second-top scorer of all time. He also netted his fifth Coupe de France goal in two ties this season.

Kylian scored two goals from outside the box for the first time in the same game in his career, just nine of the 150 he has netted have come from outside the penalty area (3 in the Coupe de France).

Presnel Kimpembe, who captained the side at the Stade de la Rabine, opened the scoring with his second goal for the club (in 203 competitive appearances). He also provided an assist for Mbappé. It's the first time the club's vice-captain scored and assisted in the same game. He's officially the first Parisian goalscorer of 2022, following in the footsteps of 2021 laureate Moise Kean.

Paris LOVES THE Coupe!

Paris Saint-Germain have reached the Last 16 in all but one of the last 21 seasons, keeping clean sheets in eight of the last nine ties, scoring 24 times and conceding just twice (against Montpellier in last season's semi-final).

Paris have scored at least three goals in five of their last seven ties (22 goals in total).

Les Titis IN THE SPOTLIGHT

At the end of the game, six youth academy products - Les Titis - were on the pitch, showing the great work the club continues to do in the area. Simons and Dina Ebimbe both registered an assist on Mbappé goals.
