Stats & Facts: Lookback on the win at Lens

Match in numbers

All the key stats and numbers from the weekend's Ligue 1 victory in the north of France.

Paris KEEP THEIR RUN GOING

With their 2-0 win on Sunday, the Parisians clocked up their third successive win against Lens in Ligue 1, having won both their last two meetings with them at the Parc des Princes 3-1. The Parisians have lost only twice in their last 20 matches against the Blood and Gold (12 wins).

2024 STARTS WELL

For the first time since 2019 and a 3-0 win at Amiens SC, Paris SG have won their first league match of the calendar year. They had previously had three draws and a defeat: at Lens on 1 January, 2023.

THE Rouge et Bleu PEERLESS ON THE ROAD

That's now 16 away games unbeaten in Ligue 1 for Paris Saint-Germain, 12 of which have ended in victory. It's their best run since February 2018 to January 2019 when they went 17 away matches without losing. It's also the current longest such streak in Europe's top five leagues.

Mbappé & Dembélé in perfect harmony

With an assist for Kylian Mbappé against Lens, Ousmane Dembélé again showed his understanding with his teammate in attack. After teeing up goals for Mbappé against Reims and Le Havre recently, Dembélé's last three assists in Ligue 1 have all been for the Parisians' number 7.

As for Mbappé, he also tallied an assist in setting up Bradley Barcola for the opening goal. The Rouge-et-Bleu vice-captain has now scored and assisted in the same Ligue 1 match three times this season, having achieved the feat against Strasbourg and Monaco too. It means he has already matched his 2022/23 total in the category.
