Stats & Facts: Look back at the win over Haïfa

All the key stats from the 3-1 UEFA Champions League win in Israel.

THE FRONT THREE ON THE FRONT FOOT

The almost perfect start to the season was confirmed with a second successive Champions League win. After going behind, Paris reacted through Lionel Messi, teed up by Kylian Mbappé. Then the roles were reversed before Neymar Jr struck at the end of the game. It's the first time the three have all scored in the seven Champions League matches they have played together.

Messi and Neymar Jr opened their accounts on the European stage, and Leo's will remain in the history books: he became the first player to score against 39 different Champions League opponents, more than any other player in the history of the competition. The Parisian number 30 has scored at least once in 18 different Champions League seasons, another record, ahead of Karim Benzema (17).

Kylian Mbappé has scored 30 goals in 46 matches in the competition with Paris, equalling Edinson Cavani as the Club's leading Champions League scorer. He's found the net in six successive matches in the competition, the longest current streak for a French player (5 for Karim Benzema).

BACK TO THE FUTURE

A week after beating Juventus for the first time in their history, Paris Saint-Germain repeated the trick against Maccabi Haifa, 24 years after being knocked out of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup by the Israeli club in 1998.

It's the capital club's second win in European competition against Israeli opposition (1 draw, 3 losses), after the 2-0 home win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in Europa League qualifying on 19 August 2010.

Paris AND THE Champions League, A PERFECT MATCH !

Thanks to their win at the Sammy Ofer Stadium, the Parisians lead their group ahead of Benfica on goals scored (5 goals scored to 4), and that sets up nicely the double-header with the Lisbon club on the next two matchdays.

Paris equalled a record with their win: they've scored in their last 40 group stage games in the competition (110 goals in total), matching the record of Real Madrid set between November 2008 and September 2015.
