Despite the club from the capital club being held to a draw by a valiant Stade de Reims side, Les Parisiens maintained their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 this season, further strengthening their dominance in French football. This consistency is far from a first for PSG during a top-flight season. After the 1985-1986, 2015-2016, and 2018-2019 seasons, Luis Enrique’s men have remained unbeaten through the first 19 matches of a season for the fourth time in the club’s history—more than all other teams that have achieved this feat in the past combined (AS Saint-Étienne in 1957-1958, FC Nantes in 1994-1995, and Olympique Lyonnais in 2004-2005).

Omnipresent across all areas of play, the Georgian international stood out as the player with the most duels contested (19) and the most touches in the opposition box (9). Fabian Ruiz makes it 100!

In addition to the highly anticipated debut of Paris’s new number 7, another member of the club reached a symbolic milestone. Starting last night, Fabián Ruiz celebrated his 100th match across all competitions in the Red and Blue shirt. This milestone was highlighted by his 42nd consecutive Ligue 1 game without defeat.
