Stats & Facts: A look back at the win against Lille

Match in numbers

Check out the key numbers and facts from Les Parisiens' 3-1 victory against Lille on Saturday 10 February 2024, on Matchday 21 of Ligue 1.

UP THERE

A 13th consecutive match without defeat at the Parc des Princes. The crazy streak continues for Les Parisiens who have been delivering strong performances in recent weeks (or last month?) with a well-oiled team, fluidity in their play and impressive results. Paris are well and truly at the top of Ligue 1, leading the table. The number rises to 15 matches if we also take away games into account.

Paris have now picked up 50 points after 21 league matches this season. Only one team has failed to clinch the title after reaching this total or more at this stage of the season (counting 3 points for a win), and that was Nîmes in 1959-60 (51 - 2nd). As for the Chinese calendar, 1960 was definitely not the year of the crocodile.

DEMBELE, THE FURY OF THE DRAGON

He's on fire, he's unstoppable, he shines week in week out and steals the show. Ousmane Dembélé is in top form and that's an understatement. His performance yesterday was yet another proof of the number 10's current form. In terms of his bursts of speed, dribbles, runs and creating space, Dembélé is simply unstoppable.

Ousmane has now picked up 7 assists for Paris in Ligue 1 this season, and no player has a better record. He has also equalled his total in La Liga 2022-23 with Barcelona.

In the Kingdom of Attack

The numbers are good. In attack, Les Parisiens are looking particularly formidable and each of the forwards is finding more and more cohesion. Even without Kylian Mbappé, who remained on the bench for the entirety of a Ligue 1 match with Paris for only the 3rd time in his career, the Paris front line wreaked havoc.

Firstly, it was a 4th goal in 6 appearances for Gonçalo Ramos, who has been more effective in 2024 than in 2023. Secondly, Randal Kolo Muani has scored 4 goals in his last 5 matches with Paris Saint-Germain. Finally, 1 goal and 2 assists for Bradley Barcola in his last 3 matches, a new found consistency for the forward line, a good sign ahead of the return of the UEFA Champions League.
