Paris to face Stade Briochin in Coupe de France quarter-final
Paris Saint-Germain will face Stade Briochin (N2) in the quarter-final of the Coupe de France. The match will be played on Wednesday 26th February.
Winners of the competition on 15 occasions (in 1982, 1983, 1993, 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2024, a national record), and having qualified after beating RC Lens (1-1, 4-3 on penalties) in the round of 64, FC Espaly in the round of 32 (2-4) and Le Mans FC in the round of 16 (0-2), the Ligue 1 leaders will now travel to the current 5th-placed side in National 2 Group B, with 23 points from 15 matches, who have progressed to this stage by knocking out AG de Plouvorn (R1, 0-1), Lannion FC (N3, 0-2), AS Uzel Merléac (R2, 0-4), Stade Paimpolais (R2, 0-3), US Saint-Malo (N2, 0-0, 5-4 pens), Le Havre AC (L1, 1-0), FC Annecy (L2, 1-1, 4-3 pens) and finally OGC Nice (L1, 2-1).
