Sergio Rico extends his contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to extend Sergio Rico's contract with the club after reaching agreement on a permanent transfer with Sevilla.

The Spanish goalkeeper is now linked to the Club until 30 June, 2024. Le gardien de but espagnol est désormais lié au Club jusqu’au 30 juin 2024.

Sergio Rico, who turned 27 on 1 September, is the ninth Spanish player in Paris Saint-Germain history and the first goalkeeper.

During his first season in Rouge-et-Bleu, the Sevilla youth academy product played ten games in all competitions, winning the Ligue 1 title, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue. Last month, the Spain international (1 cap) helped the team reach the first UEFA Champions League final in the club's history.

The Club would like to congratulate Sergio and wish him every success as he continues his career with the Rouge-et-Bleu.
