Sébastien Cibois signs first professional contract

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Sébastien Cibois, 20 years of age, is now tied to the capital club until 30 June 2021.

A graduate of the club’s youth academy, Sébastien Cibois was the club’s first-choice goalkeeper in the UEFA Youth League for the past two seasons. He helped qualify the club for the last-16 of the competition on 6 February 2018 when he saved two penalties in the shootout against Ajax Amsterdam. Since January of this year, as well as playing in goal for the club’s reserve team in the Nationale 2 division, the native of Argenteuil has been the third-choice ‘keeper for the first team behind Alphonse Areola and Kevin Trapp.

This season, with Les Rouge et Bleu, Sébastien Cibois played 21 matches in all competitions (13 in Nationale 2, 8 in the UEFA Youth League). He was crowned French U19 champions with Paris Saint-Germain in 2015-16.
