Rouge et Bleu stats

Paris travel to Marseille on Sunday for the first CLassique of the season, with the chance to extend some already impressive stats.

Paris Saint-Germain haven't lost to Marseille in nearly seven years and are undefeated in their last 17 matches against OM in all competitions. Marseille haven't won any of their last 13 Ligue 1 matches against Paris, losing four of the last five.

The run continued last term thanks to a 2-2 draw at the Stade Orange Vélodrome, and a sensational Edinson Cavani free-kick in stoppage time. Paris then continued the series with back to back 3-0 at the Parc desd Princes, in the league and then in the Coupe de France three days later.

Another incredible stat: Paris have scored at least two goals in 12 of their last 13 Ligue 1 matches against Marseille. The only excpetion being a scoreless draw at the Parc des Princes in October 2016, in Rudi Garcia's first match in charge of OM.

The match promises gals. In their ten consecutive wins so far this term, Thomas Tuchel's side have scored at least three goals in each of them and 37 in total. For their part, Marseille have scored in 36 of their last 37 Ligue 1 matches.

Another win for Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday and they will equal Tottenham Hotspur's record of 11 straight wins to start the season. To do that in Marseille will really mean something for the Rouge et Bleu and their fans.
