The Italy international has become the player with the most Trophée des Champions wins thanks to Paris Saint-Germain's 4-0 win over Monaco.
Verratti has moved past former Lyon and PSG goalkeeper Grégory Coupet, who had five wins, with his sixth victory in the competition, all of which have come in consecutive years since 2013, just like his club.
