Ready for Pontivy-Paris Saint-Germain?

We look ahead to Paris Saint-Germain's Coupe de France Round of 64 tie with Pontivy in Lorient.

THE MATCH
Pontivy-Paris Saint-Germain, Act III. The Parisians have already played GSI Pontivy in two friendlies, winning both times:  2-0 on 09/07/2008 in Arzon, goals from Ngog and Boli, 2-0 on 11/07/2009 in Sarzeau, goals from Guily and Boli.

Pontivy will become the club's 204th competitive opponent since 1970, and the 98th in the Coupe de France.

Paris Saint-Germain are on an incredible 43-game unbeaten streak in domestic cup ties (24 Coupe de France matches and 19 in the Coupe de la Ligue). Their last defeat came on 22 January 2014 when they were beaten 2-1 by Montpellier in the Coupe de France Round of 32.

Paris Saint-Germain were last knocked out in the Round of 64 on 17 February 1990 by Valenciennes, 29 years ago. The capital club has a leading 12 wins in the competition, including four in the last four years, making them the country's Coupe de France specialists.

THE PLAYERS
Who'll follow Kylian Mbappé? Last season, the Paris number 7 took just nine minutes to open the scoring against Rennes, the club's first competitive goal of 2018, in a 6-1 Coupe de France Round of 64 win on 7 January.

The quickest goal scored in a new year came from Filipe Teixeira, who struck just four minutes into the Round of 64 win over Guingamp (6-1) on 8 January, 2005. It was his only goal in 25 competitive appearances for the club.

THE LITTLE EXTRA
Paris Saint-Germain are seeking a fifth successive win in the competition, which would be a record among Europe's top five leagues. Juventus in Italy and Barcelona in Spain have also won their domestic cup competition in the last four years, and so start with the same objective as the  Rouge-et-Bleu.
