Ready for Linas-Montlhery - Paris Saint-Germain?

We look ahead to Sunday's Coupe de France Round of 64 tie.

After a ten-game unbeaten run to the end of 2019 and no fewer than 29 goals scored in that time, Thomas Tuchel's men returned to training at the Ooredoo Centre on Thursday with the goal of picking up where they left off.

Their first game of 2020 sees them face Entente Sportive et Athlétique de Linas-Montlhéry on Sunday (kick-off 20:55CET) for a Coupe de France Round of 64 tie with the visit of AS Saint-Étienne three days later for a Coupe de la Ligue quarter-final.

THE MATCH

Linas-Montlhéry, a club in the sixth tier of French football, will host the sides' first-ever meeting at the Stade Robert-Bobin in Bondoufle, where there will be a 15,000 sell-out crowd.

Paris Saint-Germain have won the Coupe de France more times than any other club (12), including an imperious run of four successive triumphs between 2015 and 2018.

Paris have scored in their last 40 Coupe de France ties (114 goals in all). They last failed to score on 14 May 2011 when they lost 1-0) to Lille in the final.

THE PLAYERS

Kylian Mbappé has already scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in just 19 competitive outings this season. He also excels in the Coupe de France having been involved in 12 goals in his nine games for Paris Saint-Germain in the competition (6 goals, 6 assists), including in five last season.

THE LITTLE +

Johan Roca, the Linas-Montlhéry captain, knows the visitors inside out. The 33-year-old was part of the club's youth academy from 13 to 17, meaning Sunday's game will be all the more special for him.
