Randal Kolo Muani is a Parisien

Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the signing of Randal Kolo Muani. The French striker, who will wear the number 23, has signed an 5-year contract with the club.

After playing for several clubs in the Île-de-France region during his childhood, Randal Kolo Muani eventually joined the FC Nantes academy in 2015. The striker waited until 30 November 2018 to make his professional debut in a Ligue 1 match at Saint-Etienne.

The following season, the man from Bondy in Seine-Saint-Denis was loaned out to US Boulogne Côte d'Opale, where he made 14 appearances in the National, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists. He returned to Les Canaris as a regular for the 2020-2021 season, making 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists.

The right-footer, who is more often used up front but can play in all attacking positions, followed up with another strong season (41 matches, 13 goals, 7 assists) and a Coupe de France title before joining Eintracht Frankfurt. In Germany, he quickly established himself as a key component of his team, finding the net 23 times in 46 appearances during the 2022-2023 season.

The 1.87m player's convincing performances in the Bundesliga prompted Didier Deschamps to call him up to the France squad. He earned his first cap against Austria in the Nations League in September 2022, before heading off with the French squad for the World Cup in Qatar two months later. He scored for Les Bleus in the semi-final against Morocco, and set up a goal in the final against Argentina. At the age of 24, the Frenchman has made 9 appearances for Les Bleus.

“We are delighted to welcome Randal Kolo Muani - a proud Parisien and Frenchman - to Paris Saint-Germain; to his city and his home. We have worked incredibly hard to get this transfer over the line. Randal is a fantastic French international player and is committed to PSG and our project. I’m so excited to see Randal in a PSG jersey, giving everything for the club”, said Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

"It's great to be back where it all began! I was attracted by the club's project, said Randal Kolo-Muani. Now I can't wait to get to work and finally play in these colours."
