Randal Kolo Muani: "I'll be prepared to die for this shirt"

Paris Saint-Germain's new striker shared his first impressions with PSG TV. The Bondy man spoke of his pride at joining the capital, and his eagerness to get out on the pitch in his new shirt.

Hi Randal, welcome to your new Paris Saint-Germain family! How does it feel to have just signed at the deadline?

It was very last minute! I'm very happy, very proud to be here. I saw that the President did a lot to make it possible for me to come and I'm very proud to be here.

What made you decide to move to the capital?

It's a club I supported when I was a kid, and it's where I grew up. It's my home town, so I wanted to do everything I could to come here. It's always nice to go back to your roots and try to go as far as possible with the club you love. I'm also happy to see what the coach is putting in place with this new team and this project, which is very appealing to me. Now it's time to get down to work!

What are your objectives here?

I know that the club wants to lift a lot of trophies and I think I'm ready to help my team-mates go as far as possible. I'm someone who gives everything on the pitch. So I'll be prepared to die for this shirt.

You're joining players you already know, including those who play with you in the French national team. Do you think this will make it easier for you to integrate?

I'm not a very shy person so I'll be able to approach my teammates no matter what. But yes, that will certainly help me. It's always a pleasure to come to a club where friends play, and play with them.

You're about to discover the Parc des Princes. Are you looking forward to it?

Yes, I am. I'm so excited! I can't wait to get out on that pitch and play in that shirt.
