THE NUMBERS

Paris Saint-Germain will seek to turn around their 1-0 first leg defeat to reach the final. If they do so, they would be the first team to reach the Champions League final having lost the first leg of both the quarter-final and semi-final. To do that, they have to score, and there's a good chance of that: they've only failed to find the net twice in their previous 38 home games in the competition (scoring 93 times in total). Kylian Mbappé, is of course central to that attacking force, and the Paris forward has been involved in 17 goals in his last 13 Champions League games at the Parc des Princes (13 goals, 4 assists).

Dortmund arrive in Paris looking to win there for the very first time in four attempts (1 draw, 2 defeats). They're seeking a third final spot after 1997 and 2013, and they have a key weapon in Jadon Sancho. The England international has completed a competition-high 22 dribbles in the knockout stages, while Mats Hummel is crucial too, winning back possession 74 times so far, second only to former Dortmund teammate and current PSG man Achraf Hakimi (75).

OPPOSITION STRENGTHS

For the duo's fourth meeting this season, Dortmund are likely to line up in a 4-3-3 once more. Gregor Kobel (82.2% save percentage in the Champions League this season) remains key and will be in goal behind Nico Schlotterbeck and Mats Hummels in central defence. Norway international Julian Ryerson should start at right-back ahead of Marius Wolf with Ian Maatsen on the left while Ramy Bensebaini remains sidelined by injury.

Captain Emre Can will bring his experience in the middle of the pitch alongside Marcel Sabitzer (6 goals, 9 assists in all competitions) and Julian Brandt (9 goals, 14 assists) with Felix Nmecha an option from the bench.

Up front, Donyell Malen (14 goals, 5 assists) could start on the right, but it is likely to be Sancho (3 goals, 2 assists) following his impressive performance last Wednesday. On the left, Karim Adeyemi (5 goals, 2 assists) should start with Marco Reus (8 goals, 9 assists) and the promising Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (2 goals, 8 assists) starting on the bench while Niclas Füllkrug (16 goals, 10 assists) will lead the line.

The Germany international has Youssoufa Moukoko (6 goals) behind him while Sébastien Haller could return.
