Peru and Ecuador play out goalless draw

Willian Pacho and Ecuador were held to a 0-0 draw by Peru on Matchday 16 of CONMEBOL qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup last night.

The Paris centre-back played the full 90 minutes of the draw, which leaves Ecuador second with 25 points in the CONMEBOL standings and therefore means that they have now qualified for next summer's World Cup.
